Begin the day with a visit to the sacred Baptism Site (Bethany Beyond the Jordan), located along the Jordan River and believed to be the place where Jesus Christ was baptized. Explore Hill Mar Elijah and the Cave of John the Baptist, followed by a peaceful hike through the Jordan River wilderness, passing ancient churches and baptism pools that reflect the area’s deep spiritual significance.

Continue to Naor Olive Press, where you’ll discover traditional olive oil production methods passed down through generations.

In the afternoon, explore the highlights of Amman:

King Abdullah I Mosque and the nearby Coptic Church

Travel south to Madaba, home to the famous St. George’s Church Mosaic, the oldest surviving map of the Holy Land. Continue to Mount Nebo, where Moses is believed to have seen the Promised Land, enjoying sweeping views across the Jordan Valley.

Later, venture into the dramatic landscapes of the Wadi Araba Desert for a unique desert experience. Enjoy horse riding across sand dunes, followed by sunset tea as the colors of the desert change. The evening continues with a traditional barbecue dinner under the stars, creating a truly authentic desert atmosphere.

Transfer to Petra for the magical Petra by Night experience—walking through the candlelit Siq to the illuminated Treasury, accompanied by Bedouin music and storytelling.
