Upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, you will be warmly met and assisted. Transfer to your hotel in Amman, Jordan’s vibrant capital, and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Azraq Wetland Reserve & Qasr Amra

Travel east to the Azraq Wetland Reserve, a vital oasis and migratory bird stopover. Explore the wetlands and learn about the region’s diverse communities, including Bedouins, Chechens, and Druze. Visit Azraq Castle, famously used by Lawrence of Arabia during the Arab Revolt.

On the return journey, stop at Qasr Amra, one of the world’s best-preserved Umayyad bathhouses, renowned for its rare frescoes depicting daily life, astrology, and royal scenes.

Umm Qais, Jerash & Ajloun Castle

Drive north to Umm Qais (ancient Gadara), enjoying breathtaking views over the Yarmouk River, the Golan Heights, and Lake Tiberias. Continue to Jerash, one of the best-preserved Roman cities in the world, exploring Hadrian’s Arch, the Hippodrome, Oval Plaza, Cardo Street, temples, and theaters.

End the day at Ajloun Castle, a 12th-century Islamic fortress built to defend the region during the Crusades, before returning to Amman.

Amman, Mount Nebo, Madaba & Petra

Begin with a city tour of Amman, visiting the King Abdullah I Mosque, Roman Theater, Citadel, and Archaeological Museum.

Travel south to Mount Nebo, where Moses is believed to have viewed the Promised Land, followed by a visit to Madaba’s St. George Church, home to the famous mosaic map of the Holy Land. Continue to Little Petra, an ancient Nabatean caravan stop, before arriving in Petra.

Petra Full Day & Bedouin Experience

Spend a full day exploring Petra, walking through Nabatean tombs, the Siq Canyon, the Treasury, Façade Street, Royal Tombs, the Roman Theater, and the Byzantine Church.

Enjoy a hands-on Bedouin cooking experience with a local family. In the afternoon, climb the 860 steps to the Monastery (Ad-Deir) for panoramic views and tea at the summit, then descend via the back trail overlooking Wadi Arava and the African Rift Valley.
Optional evening: Petra by Night, illuminated by thousands of candles.

Start early with a sunrise hike to Mount Aaron (Jabal Haroun), followed by breakfast with a Bedouin family in a cave. Continue along Petra’s hidden Al-Madras / Olive Press trail, visiting the Djinn Blocks, Obelisk Tomb, High Place of Sacrifice, Wadi Farasah, Lion Fountain, Garden Tomb, Roman Soldier Tomb, and Decorated Tomb. Horse riding is available on select sections.

In the afternoon, travel into the Wadi Araba Desert for a peaceful sunset walk across golden dunes and a night spent under the stars, embracing the silence of the desert.
