After breakfast, travel along the historic King’s Highway to the city of Madaba, renowned for its intricate Byzantine mosaics. Visit the Church of St. George, home to the famous 6th-century Mosaic Map of the Holy Land. Continue to Mount Nebo, the sacred hill from which Moses viewed the Promised Land. Enjoy sweeping views toward the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea. Proceed south to Kerak, famous for its imposing crusader castle dating back to the 12th century. After breakfast, enjoy a full day exploring Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walk through the dramatic Siq, a narrow gorge that leads to Petra’s most iconic monument, Al-Khazneh (The Treasury). Continue your exploration through carved temples, royal tombs, theaters, and the Roman colonnaded street. Visit Qasr al-Bint, one of Petra’s few freestanding structures. Lunch at the restaurant. In the afternoon, an optional hike leads to The Monastery (El Deir), offering magnificent views. Dinner and overnight in Petra.
Breakfast at the hotel, then visit Little Petra, a Nabataean caravan station. Continue to the majestic desert of Wadi Rum, celebrated for its dramatic sandstone mountains and its role in the Great Arab Revolt. Enjoy a 1.5-hour 4x4 desert tour with a local Bedouin driver. Lunch in a Bedouin camp, followed by a traditional dinner and a night under the stars. Overnight in authentic Bedouin tents.
After breakfast, travel via the scenic Wadi Araba route to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth. Lunch included.
